Role Description The C-10 Qualifying Employee / Landscape Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Henderson, NV, responsible for overseeing daily landscape operations and ensuring compliance with C-10 licensing requirements. This role includes supervising field crews, coordinating schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring job progress to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The individual will review plans and specifications, manage materials and equipment, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and inspectors as needed. Daily responsibilities also include enforcing safety protocols, documenting work performed, assisting with estimating and job costing, and providing guidance and training to team members. The role requires consistent on-site presence at project locations, with some office-based planning and administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • Possess or qualify for C-10 Landscape Contractor licensing credentials and thorough knowledge of relevant Nevada regulations and codes.
  • Demonstrated experience in landscape construction, installation, and maintenance, including irrigation systems, hardscapes, and plant care.
  • Strong operations management skills, including crew supervision, scheduling, resource allocation, and job site coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, and project specifications, and translate them into clear work instructions.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and risk management, including implementing safety procedures, conducting site inspections, and maintaining compliance with OSHA and local standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, team members, suppliers, and inspectors in a professional manner.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple projects, address site issues, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools for recordkeeping, scheduling, and reporting; familiarity with project management or field-service software is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of outdoor landscape work, including standing, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Previous leadership experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional technical or trade education is a plus.
