Join our expanding Landscape Construction Department (LCD) at David J. Frank Landscaping, the largest landscape workforce in the state. We offer full-time, year-round employment with a variety of tasks including construction, snow removal, and training. Our team consists of over 270 landscape professionals, graduate horticulturalists, landscape architects, certified arborists, carpenters, an agronomist, an entomologist, and more. We tackle unique projects with the latest equipment and technology. Our Hardscape Technicians direct report to the job site in the metro Milwaukee area. This is full-time year-round employment. During the winter we do snow removal, training, and complete maintenance projects.

Qualifications
  • Preferred six months or more of landscape construction/hardscape production experience ensuring client satisfaction with quality outcomes in accordance with our production standards.
  • Possess basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other construction skills.
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Accountability and commitment to improvement.
  • Possess and maintain valid REGULAR driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
  • Successfully complete a pre-placement physical (to include lifting 50 pounds) and drug screen.
Responsibilities
  • Hardscape Technicians install various landscape construction materials (French style drainage systems, dry and wet brick paving, concrete, landscape lighting systems, timber walls and steps, steel/aluminum/plastic edging, sod, Lannon stone/fieldstone, underlayment/erosion control fabric, etc.).
  • Maintain and be responsible for all tools, equipment and supplies assigned.
  • Participate in snow removal during winter months (November through April).
  • Engage in training and maintenance projects.
  • Prompt arrival for dispatch, work assignments and meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with team members on residential and public job sites.
