The teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, physical, and faith development of children in the middle school period of their elementary school experience and specifically preparing them for the rigors of high school mathematics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Qualifications & Dispositions Has strong experience teaching middle school math (6th-8th preferred), including pre-algebra and algebra.

Demonstrates strong content knowledge and effective instructional practice. Uses engaging, student-centered teaching strategies. Differentiates instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
