Dental Assistant – Stamford, CT | Private Practice

Our highly reviewed private dental practice in Stamford, CT is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team! We offer a warm, welcoming office environment with an amazing group of dental professionals who genuinely enjoy working together and providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule
Part-Time

  • Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay & Compensation

  • $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
  • Open to negotiation for the right candidate

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and help create a positive office experience
  • Prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort throughout appointments
  • Take dental X-rays and assist with emergency patient triage
  • Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA/infection control standards
  • Assist the doctor with 4-handed dentistry
  • Mill same-day crowns in-office
  • 3D print models and night guards
  • Assist with Invisalign consults, attachments, and tray checks
  • Support smooth daily clinical operations and patient flow

Requirements

  • Connecticut X-ray license required
  • DANB certification preferred
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
