Position Summary:
Planet Fitness is looking for a talented and professional Hairdresser to join our team and provide exceptional grooming services to our members. As a Hairdresser, you will have the opportunity to create a positive experience for our members by offering high-quality haircuts, styling, and other personal care services. This role requires a commitment to delivering excellent service in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and consult with clients to understand their hair and grooming needs.
- Perform haircuts, trims, and styling with attention to detail and precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized salon area, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Educate clients on hair care maintenance and recommend suitable products.
- Assist in the day-to-day management and upkeep of the Black Spa amenities, ensuring all services and spaces meet high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional experience for our members.
- Provide a welcoming, customer-first experience that aligns with the judgment-free philosophy of Planet Fitness.
Qualifications:
- Active state Hairdresser license.
- Previous experience as a Hairdresser is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of various hairstyles and current trends.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and reach to perform haircuts and other styling services.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of clients.
