Job description

A Friend In Need Home Care is growing our caregiver team and looking for dependable, compassionate people who want more than just a job — they want work that matters.


Our caregivers help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe, independent, and respected in their own homes.


We have current day, evening, weekend, and PRN opportunities throughout the Kansas City area, including Gardner, Olathe, Lenexa, Overland Park, and Kansas City, KS.


Pay: $16.50–$18.00/hour


Pay is based on experience, skills, demonstrated reliability, and assignment complexity.


What You'll Do


  • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
  • Provide mobility and transfer assistance
  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and supervision
  • Support clients with dementia and age-related disabilities
  • Complete required visit documentation
  • Report changes or concerns to the office

  • Understands the importance of showing up when a client depends on you
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Has strong attendance and communication
  • Is comfortable assisting with ADLs
  • Has caregiving, senior care or disability-support experience
  • Can pass required background screening
  • Is willing to learn and grow with our team
