Description
Summary:
This position assists with coaching duties, operating under NCAA bylaws. Assist the Head Football Coach with recruitment and training for athletic competition and participate in the overall coordination of the program, as appropriate.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the head Football coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competitions.
  • Responsible for specific football skill area training
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting potential student-athletes for the tennis program per NCAA rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to student-athletes within the tennis program.
  • Delegate and multi-task responsibilities that the head tennis coach assigns.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred
  • At least 1 to 3 years of coaching experience in high school or collegiate level
  • Must be able to travel for recruitment
