Job Description Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex material handling and industrial automation projects, using strong electrical design and AutoCAD expertise to develop best-in-class solutions. Responsibilities: Design electrical systems and components for industrial applications Create and modify electrical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD Specify appropriate components and materials for electrical installations Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide technical solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project implementation Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards Provide technical support for existing installations Develop and review electrical system specifications Required Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Physics degrees also highly regarded) 2+ years of professional electrical engineering experience Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and documentation Experience with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 1,000V, including 480V applications Demonstrated expertise in controls systems and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Strong understanding of electrical design principles and industry standards Experience creating electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work Travel Requirements: Typically around 20% domestic travel for client site visits Can increase to as much as 30% during the busier summer season Travel primarily for installation, commissioning, and support activities.
