Position – Diesel Mechanic
Job Location –Southeastern, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:00am – 4:00pm)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience


Job Summary
As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery. You’ll ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate service documentation and following company safety procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and brake systems.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.

  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems.

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards.

  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors about repairs, timelines, and parts needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or related role.

  • Strong understanding of diesel engine, fuel, and hydraulic systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions.

  • ASE certification, welding/fabrication experience, and knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
