Job Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Returns Clerk to support a busy customer operations team. This role is responsible for processing return transactions, credits, and debits while ensuring accuracy within the company's ERP system. The ideal candidate enjoys administrative work, has strong data entry skills, and is comfortable working with spreadsheets and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer return requests, credits, and debit adjustments accurately in the ERP system.
- Review documentation related to damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
- Coordinate return shipments by preparing shipping documentation and communicating with logistics partners.
- Maintain accurate records using Excel and internal databases.
- Assist with purchase order entry and other administrative tasks as business needs evolve.
- Generate and review daily reports to monitor transaction activity and order status.
- Work closely with internal customer service and sales support teams to resolve account issues.
- Provide additional administrative support to the department as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of professional data entry, administrative support, or customer service experience in an office environment.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred for long-term growth opportunities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Excel, including filters and basic spreadsheet functions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Professional communication skills; previous phone or customer interaction experience is a plus.
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
