Job description

ADULT PSYCHIATRIST

Raleigh, NC | Hybrid | Outpatient

Paid Like a Specialist. Scheduled Like a Human.

Quick question before you keep scrolling:

Are you a psychiatrist…
or an overqualified admin assistant with an MD?

If it’s the second one — keep reading.

MONEY FIRST (AS IT SHOULD BE)

Let’s get this out of the way immediately:

  • Top-of-market base compensation
  • Unlimited incentive pay
(no cap, no committee, no “we’ll revisit this next year”)
  • Sign-on bonus + relocation money
  • Loan repayment options
  • Malpractice with tail = covered

This is not a “passion role.”
This is a career-level paycheck.

HYBRID FLEXIBILITY (THE REAL FLEX)

This is not fake hybrid.

  • True hybrid schedule — in-person + telepsychiatry
  • Fewer commutes, more control
  • Build your week around your life — not the other way around
  • Monday–Friday
  • ❌ No nights
  • ❌ No weekends
  • ❌ No call

If your current schedule makes you sigh out loud — this fixes that.

THE WORK (ACTUAL PSYCHIATRY)

  • 100% outpatient
  • Adult patients
  • Medication management + psychotherapy
  • Mostly commercial insurance
  • Optional access to advanced treatments (TMS, Spravato depending on site)
  • Clean patient flow — no crisis chaos cosplay

You practice psychiatry.
You don’t triage dysfunction in a broken system.

THE SETUP (ZERO HEADACHES)

  • Modern, professional office in Raleigh
  • Front desk, scheduling, billing — handled
  • Admin support that does not ghost you
  • Working EHR (we know, rare)
  • Collaborative team of Psychiatrists, APPs, and Therapists

Feels like private practice —
without payroll, HR, staffing fires, or Sunday anxiety.

REQUIREMENTS (WE’RE NOT BEING WEIRD ABOUT THIS)

  • MD or DO
  • BE/BC in Psychiatry
  • NC license (or in process)
  • Active DEA

That’s the list. That’s it. For more information contact Russ Carter at 800-783-9152 ext. 227 or email admin@fcspsy.com regarding job NC 129D.
