Job description

Administrative Professional

Full Year Position – 8 hours/day

Summary:

Responsible for supporting the Community Education Director in the daily operation of the Community Education Department by coordinating and assisting with programs from initial development through program completion. This position plays a key role in program marketing, registration management, participant and instructor communication, facility scheduling and set-up, and overall program support. The position requires the ability to manage a large variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to effectively support community members, program partners, instructors, and district staff, ensuring high-quality Community Education experiences for all participants.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a secretarial, administrative, or related field, preferably within an educational
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, Canva, PowerSchool, MachForm, Schlage door programming, and social media platforms. Experience with DASH registration software preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties with a thorough understanding of district policies, procedures, and
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with parents, students, administrators, staff, program partners, and community members both in person and in writing.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and
