MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

JOB DUTIES

This position is responsible for the implementation of therapeutic services which achieve the purpose of this program component which includes, but not limited to, the following:

1. Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
2. Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
3. Counsel clients and patients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes.
4. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
5. Meet with families, probation officers, police, and other interested parties in order to exchange necessary information during the treatment process.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling programs and clients' progress in resolving identified problems and moving towards defined objectives.
8. Modify treatment activities and approaches as needed in order to comply with changes in clients' status.
9. Adhering to all Shoulders of Strength, Inc. Policies and Procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
