Mr. Appliance of Macon is looking for experienced appliance repair technicians who want to be part of a growing team and take the stress out of our customers lives that is caused by a broken appliance.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a strong desire to strive to perfect your skills and appliance repair knowledge, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
As an Appliance Repair Technician with Mr. Appliance, you are a valued member of our team by providing excellent customer service to our customers and using your appliance repair expertise. A broken appliance can disrupt a familys life you can be a superhero by getting their appliance working again.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Accurately diagnoses and repair appliances/equipment in the customers home or business
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment for work performed using our state-of-the art mobile app
  • Complete invoices and provide detailed notes at the conclusion of each service visit
  • Ensure efficient use of companys vehicle and equipment
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have experience in home appliances and customer service
  • Ability to navigate tablet-based technology
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on occasion without assistance
  • Ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances including: lifting, stooping, reaching, standing, reaching with hands and arms, kneeling, crouching, crawling and climbing or balancing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers and team members
  • Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus!
Preferred qualifications

  • An understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Skilled in reading and understanding schematics and wiring diagrams
