Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
• Know and follow all school board policies.
• Positively promote the baseball program within the school and community to spotlight outstanding athletic and academic accomplishments of the student athletes.
• Directly coach and supervise baseball student athletes.
• Maintain adherence to TSSAA standards.
• Participate in professional growth opportunities.
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Principal and Director of Schools.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrate a wide range of knowledge of coaching high school baseball student athletes.
• Demonstrate effective organizational skills.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret policies as related to job functions.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the public and other employees.
• Ability to perform any physical duties associated with this position (e.g. lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis).
