This individual will be an integral part of our legal team, working on a variety of complex and challenging legal cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in areas such as General Liability, Premises Liability, Construction Defect, Professional Liability, Trucking, Transportation, and Catastrophic Injury. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle cases from inception through trial, working closely with senior attorneys and partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing a caseload involving General Liability, Premises Liability, Construction Defect, Professional Liability, Trucking, Transportation, and Catastrophic Injury.
2. Conducting and defending depositions, motion practice, discovery, hearings, mediation, and trials.
3. Drafting pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, motions, briefs, reports, and other legal documents.
4. Conducting legal research and analysis on a variety of topics and writing memoranda.
5. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the smooth running of our legal operations.
6. Building relationships with clients and working diligently to meet their needs and expectations.
7. Staying updated on current laws and regulations within our practice areas and participating in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on areas such as General Liability, Premises Liability, Construction Defect, Professional Liability, Trucking, Transportation, and Catastrophic Injury.
4. Proven experience in depositions, motion practice, discovery, hearings, mediation, and trial.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong litigation skills, with the ability to manage complex cases from inception through trial.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
11. Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
