Malone Staffing Solutions is seeking versatile, multi-skilled individuals to join our team as Food Production Associate for a manufacturer and producer of meat-based protein snack bars and chips in Winchester, KY.

Food Production Associate Benefits:

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00/hour

Position Type: Temporary to full-time hire position

Schedule: First shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Food Production Associate)

Second shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM(Food Production Associate)

First shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Food Production Associate)

Second shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM(Food Production Associate)

First shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Forklift)

Second shift: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM(Forklift)

Overtime: Optional

Location: Winchester, KY

Additional details: Weekly pay, eligibility for PTO and Holiday pay and benefits available

Food Production Associate Duties:

•Set up packaging machines and scales according to production requirements

•Maintain quality specifications throughout the production process

•Adjust scales to ensure accurate measurements and packaging

•Monitor and maintain packaging speeds based on package size and product type

•Complete shift production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

•Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting techniques

•Perform equipment and scale setup as needed

•Monitor and maintain fryer oil levels for optimal performance

•Ensure seasoning levels are adequate and adjust seasoning application as necessary

•Conduct oil filtration procedures to maintain equipment integrity

•Implement waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize losses

Food Production Associate Skill & Education Requirements:

•High School Diploma/GED

•Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

•Must possess a valid driver’s license

•Able to meet attendance requirements

•Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

•Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.

•Proficiency in equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
