Position Summary The Production Coordinator / Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, customer requirements, and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently and accurately. This role works closely with production, engineering, procurement, quality, inventory, and shipping teams to maintain workflow, resolve production issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. --- Primary Responsibilities · Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules and manufacturing work orders in alignment with customer demand, production capacity, and business priorities. · Coordinate workflow and material movement between fabrication, assembly, quality, inventory, and shipping departments to ensure efficient production flow and on-time delivery performance. · Monitor real-time production progress against schedules, identify delays, bottlenecks, or material shortages, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production targets. · Create, release, and manage manufacturing work orders within the ERP/MRP system, ensuring all production data, material allocations, and routing information remain accurate and up to date. · Maintain and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing routers, and production documentation while coordinating required updates with engineering and operations teams. · Collaborate with procurement and supply chain Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
