Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role involves working on a production line to fill and seal 50-pound bags of ingredients on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will operate packaging and sealing equipment, handle heavy lifting throughout your shift, and help maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Run filled bags through a sealing machine to ensure proper closure and prevent leaks.
- Monitor packaging and sealing equipment during operation and report any issues promptly.
- Perform general production and manufacturing tasks as assigned to support daily output goals.
Essential Skills
- Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds throughout the shift.
- Experience in a production or general labor environment.
- Familiarity with basic machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with packaging, bagging, or similar production line work.

Work Environment
This is a full-time manufacturing role with openings on 1st and 2nd shift. Typical schedules are Monday through Friday. Shift times are approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for 1st shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for 2nd shift. The work environment is dusty and has strong odors, with very close working quarters alongside a small team of 3–5 people per shift. You will work in a hands-on, physically demanding setting that involves heavy lifting and operating production and packaging equipment. The dress code requires jeans and a t-shirt or long-sleeve shirt; after several weeks of employment, you will receive work shirts with your name on them.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
