Job description

Job Title: Production Supervisor - Full Time About the Position: As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a team of 20+ employees in our remanufacturing facility for automotive lights. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing material movement, ensuring safety compliance, driving quality, and implementing operational standards to meet and exceed customer delivery expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead daily operations including inventory management, material movement, quality control, and shipping.
  • Audit teams to ensure adherence to processes, improving efficiency and minimizing returns.
  • Comply with safety standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
  • Meet and enforce quality control, inventory accuracy, and production standards.
  • Ensure timely order commitments to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing on-the-job training (OJT) programs.
  • Support the Operations Manager/General Manager as needed.
  • Prepare and send daily shift reports to site management.
  • Ensure cross-training of employees and maintain a consistent job rotation.
  • Monitor employee adherence to production tracking protocols and goals.
  • Participate in the hiring process for site personnel.
  • Conduct weekly quality meetings with team members to uphold standards.
  • Mentor, coach, and train production team members.
  • Manage ordering and organization of raw materials for the production department.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience preferred, in operations supervising a team of 20+ employees.
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience in a manufacturing, production and warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience in inventory, distribution, shipping, or materials strongly preferred.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive partnerships to drive stronger business results and resolve quality control issues.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
  • Lift and move totes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below the waist and above the head.
  • Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and able to access all areas of the building without limitations.
