Job description

The Role

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the performance of the QC area, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and driving continuous improvement across all quality control processes. This role involves managing the QC team, planning audits, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and maintaining documentation that supports food safety, labeling accuracy, and efficient kitchen operations. The QC Supervisor plays a key leadership role in maintaining product integrity and service reliability.

  • A hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced food production environments
  • Detail-oriented and highly focused on quality, accuracy, and food safety
  • Comfortable holding teams accountable and addressing issues in real time
  • Proactive in identifying problems and driving solutions
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities across shifts
  • A strong communicator who can partner cross-functionally with different teams

Must Have

  • 2-4 years of experience in food production, quality control, or kitchen operations
  • 1+ year of experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMPs, and SOP enforcement
  • Experience monitoring production and ensuring quality and consistency at scale
  • Ability to identify issues, document findings, and drive corrective actions
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, culinary, and production teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience conducting audits or reviewing production quality
  • Familiarity with production tracking systems or internal tools
  • Experience in ready-to-eat or high-volume meal production environments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
