We are looking for a Project Manager for Electrical Products, for our Electrical Product Programs. This position reports to the Director of the Programs Vertical or Lead Project Manager, Project Management Organization, as applicable. The successful candidate will interface with both internal and external customers to execute projects within critical hyperscale datacenter programs. This position is on-site, or may also be remote, with less than 20% travel required.

Over your first 90 days you can expect the following.
  • 30 days: You will receive training on our products, systems, processes, and organization. You will shadow a live project and then be assigned a new project with assistance from a buddy that is on our Team. You are receiving on the job training as you are managing the phases of your project.
  • 60 days: You will be assigned additional projects to manage, continue with products training, and still have the benefit of help from peers.
  • 90 days: You own a project portfolio and have direct customer communications.

You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:
  • Project manager for multiple projects across the country
  • Accountable for order execution including schedule, financial, and commissioning performance support
  • Create baseline project schedules and reset customer expectations (if required) upon project kickoff.
  • Set firm expectations on expected product release dates.
  • Use COMPAS to make configuration changes related to project changes or material adds to orders.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues.
  • Increase business unit margins through positive value adds to change orders, and price escalations.
  • Track and keep customers updated on pressing project issues.
  • Track ship shorts
  • Work with your Commercial Project Manager to provide financial invoice summaries and reconciliation support to closeout projects at the completion of contracted scope of supply.
  • Coordinate deliveries with project site
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive improvements across organizations.
  • Apply skills to resolve complex problems to ensure successful delivery of projects pursuant to customer deliverables and agreed upon contract terms.
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high impact,
  • Develop risk registers and mitigation plans to preempt potential problems through the application of
  • concepts, techniques, knowledge, processes, and lessons learned.
  • Comply with Siemens' policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ownership of the project.
  • Assist and support in warranty related claims while balancing best bottom-line results and customer experience.

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS in engineering, construction, building construction management, business administration, or 4 years of project related experience in lieu of a bachelors degree.
  • 3 plus years of experience in project management or project administration including direct industry (General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Electrical Equipment).
  • Experience with SAP, and exposure to Tableau etc.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specific experience with busway is highly desired
  • Working with distributors, contractors (electrical and general), and in construction market
  • Current PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent (IPMA-D)
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills to stakeholders on various Low Voltage Electrical Systems products.
  • Maintains excellent organizational skills to store critical company and customer files including Emails, Purchase Agreements, Contract Drawings and Specifications, Bid Proposals, Project Schedules, Meeting Minutes, Submittal documents
  • Proven ability to demonstrate and apply strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Experience with COMPAS
  • Achievement & Results Orientation: Able to identify complex problems, analyze options, and reach positive, effective, and practical solutions.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Works well with Internal and External customers utilizing strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understands our Channels of Distribution Direct and Indirect and is aware of risk of litigation, makes key managers aware of and works to mitigate exposure from affiliates, distribution, Joint Ventures, EPC, and General Contractors
  • Discernment: Develop ability to cut through the clutter to see and address the real issues facing the Project Stakeholders
  • Perspective: See clearly beyond their own vantage point across functional areas specifically manufacturing facilities to successfully coordinate related products.
  • Communication: Effectively and efficiently communicate knowledge across functional areas both with internal and external Project Stakeholders
  • Resourcefulness: Exhibit creative ways to make things happen with less authority and fewer resources.
  • Accountability & Responsibility for Results: Understand the difference between fault and responsibility throughout the life of the project and accept ultimate accountability for project results

The pay range for this position is $74.970 - $128,520 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
