What You'll Do
As a DTV (Design to Value) Project Manager, you'll be part of our Centralized Engineering Team working closely with Product Execution in Towson, MD. You'll get to:
  • Lead DTV, Productivity, Platforming, and Sourcing initiatives by working to identify areas of cost savings opportunities for product within the POWER TOOLS division product portfolios.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing, & Operations to identify opportunities and execute them in a timely manner, measure and evaluate ROI on VI savings, develop and present project updates to senior management.
  • Focus on delivering plans & enabling the execution of projects to reduce the cost of our products & increase margins.
  • Drive sourcing productivity projects by taking the lead on Engineering, Testing and Qualification initiatives.
  • Support product teardown events, integrate with the new product development teams to review future savings opportunities, compile data for analysis to identify ideas or trends which support VI.
  • Support long term ideation initiatives which support continued VI growth & Margin Improvement year over year.
  • Identify any roadblocks & eliminate these through working creatively within the team to provide solutions.
  • Drive awareness & ownership of VI efforts throughout the global business.
  • Continuous improvement - identify new ways to ideate productivity savings.
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally (10%).
  • Flex work environment with 3 days per week in office schedule.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN etc).

  • Functional project management experience in the design and manufacturing of consumer products.
  • Ability to understand engineering designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Possess well-developed interpersonal, communication skills; experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision; Think creatively to generate new ideas and break through barriers.
  • Proven track record of leading projects from ideation to completion is a plus.
  • Manufacturing operations experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization is a plus.

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
