The Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, planning, procurement, and execution of assigned construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while supporting field operations, managing materials and subcontractors, and maintaining clear communication with clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project budgets based on estimates, update and report weekly.
  • Procure all necessary materials and products for assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Create and manage submittal logs; obtain and track customer approvals.
  • Oversee the submittal process from submission to material release, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Solicit bids, select, and coordinate subcontractors for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules; update weekly based on job progress and material lead times.
  • Track and manage all material shipments and deliveries.
  • Provide regular updates and coordination support to superintendents regarding schedule, labor needs, and project requirements.
  • Define and communicate detailed scopes of work based on proposals, review with project superintendents prior to mobilization.
  • Identify and document potential change orders; submit, track, and follow up on approvals weekly.
  • Facilitate collaboration between field teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor labor productivity and track percent completion on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and submit weekly job progress reports for each active project.
  • Submit accurate monthly job cost reports for all open projects.
  • Represent the company in project meetings, including subcontractor coordination and client discussions.
  • Participate in weekly internal resource planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings as assigned to support project planning and preparation.
Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree; in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years relevant construction experience that is directly related to the responsibilities specified.
  • Cost Management and ability to Estimate
  • Demonstrated skills in Sage/Timberline and Procore Construction Management or similar software
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
  • Travel required
