Job description

Overview

***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP.***

Under supervision of the Production/Planning Control Manager. Processes work requests, to include after-hours calls, dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, and writes corrective maintenance (CM) work orders. Classifies work using the most current Government work classification system. Processes all work requests within 24 hours after receipt to ensure a high level of customer service. Provide technical support to the Public Works trade shops for service order level requests, preventative maintenance and project level requests. Provide complex analytics and statistical reports of resources utilized by the Public Works trades.


Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Serves as the centralized customer service focal point.
  • Processes work requests, to include after-hours calls, dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, and writes corrective maintenance (CM) work orders.
  • Classifies work using the most current Government work classification system.
  • Processes work requests within 24 hours after receipt to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Creates and submits reports (routine or ad-hoc) from the CMMS database (MAXIMO and/or GFEBS) as assigned.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers
  • Creates and distributes Preventive Maintenance work orders
  • Performs other job duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Associate degree or equivalent preferred
    • Must be able to obtain a CAC.
    • Must be able to obtain a USG Driver’s License.
    • Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbally.
    • Must be able to effectively review and interpret data across multiple systems.
  • Experience:
    • A solid background in automated data systems and data reporting.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Production Control or an administrative environment.
    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in GFEBS/Maximo.
  • Skills:
    • Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
    • Prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload
    • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Working Environment:
    • Must be capable of working in tropical weather conditions.
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
