DRS RADA Technologies, a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, is focused on proprietary radar solutions and legacy avionics systems supporting the defense industry globally. The company is a global pioneer of AESA tactical radars for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. 

Job Summary

We are a fast growing business and are looking to expand out team!  The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in an fast changing environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze MRP/ERP reports daily to identify net material requirements, review action messages and release purchase requisitions
  • Release of purchase requisitions to fulfill demand forecasts and master production schedule.
  • Provide daily shortage visibility and impact analysis to Production Planner, Operations Leaders
  • Create and maintain all "intercompany" purchase orders, maintain daily communication with intercompany counterparts
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company
  • Support Kanban or Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs where applicable
  • Review/Analyze cycle count reports from warehouse team to highlight any critical components variances that will impact production
  • Collaborate with procurement to expedite or defer orders proactively based on changes to production schedules
  • Monitor actual material costs incurred to date against total estimated project budget
  • Track committed costs to project (Open Purchase Orders and Supplier Agreements)
  • Align delivery of high value components with the project "Cost to Cost/Percent Complete" targets
  • Serve as backup/cross-coverage for peer planners and buyers as needed
  • Maintain audit-ready records and support internal/external and customer audits
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company
     
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience, or a combination of education and on the job experience.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationships
  • Strong background in project material management
  • Extensive experience in production planning
  • Skilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word, as well as Sharepoint
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The salary range for this position is ($60,051/year- $90,000).  This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
