We are hiring a Sorting Operator Lead to oversee sorting operations and ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining Cosmec automatic sorting equipment, supporting production teams, and driving quality and efficiency throughout the department.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and comfortable leading others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required
• Previous header operator experience preferred
• Experience operating automated sorting or inspection equipment preferred
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Forklift experience required or ability to become certified
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
