The Production Operator 1 contributes to the safe and efficient operation of production equipment and performs various tasks involved in the manufacturing process of industrial and medical gases.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment, including filling stations, compressors, pumps, and other machinery, supporting alignment with safety protocols and operating procedures.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on products, including cylinder inspections, pressure verification, and leak detection.
  • Load and unload cylinders and other materials using appropriate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Prepare cylinders for filling by visually inspecting, cleaning, and labeling them according to product specifications.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and other required documentation.
  • Ideally, you bring a strong commitment to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and report major issues to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to advance production goals and maintain efficient operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks, including bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and become certified.
  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior experience with industrial gas production or cylinder handling.
  • Prior forklift experience
