Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Adhere to safety policies, programs, procedures
โ€ข Complete health & safety pre-start checklists
โ€ข Ensure product being produced meets established quality specifications
โ€ข Document quality checks at regular intervals
โ€ข Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures
โ€ข Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
โ€ข Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using computerized system called PRODAC, as well as hand-written production reports)
โ€ข General housekeeping duties
โ€ข Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff
Qualifications:
โ€ข Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred
โ€ข Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended)
โ€ข Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
โ€ข Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays when necessary
โ€ข Manual dexterity
โ€ข Attention to detail
โ€ข Fluent in verbal and written English
Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
โ€ข Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
โ€ข Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
