Job Summary:

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment, including evaporators, decanters, dryers, and working in the bagging room, and utilizing the hydrolysis systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and smooth production of goods while maintaining high-quality standards and following safety protocols. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor the evaporator system, ensuring the efficient and controlled evaporation of liquids to obtain desired concentration levels.
  • Safely operate and oversee the decanters, separating liquids and solids as per production requirements.
  • Operate and maintain dryers to remove moisture from products and achieve desired levels of dryness.
  • Work in the bagging room, packaging finished products according to specifications and ensuring proper labeling and sealing.
  • Assist with hydrolysis processes, following established protocols to break down substances into desired components.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
  • Monitor and control process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to maintain production efficiency and quality.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to minimize workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth production operations and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including proper handling and disposal of waste materials.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated with industry best practices.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working as a production worker or in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining evaporators, decanters, dryers, bagging equipment, and hydrolysis systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to prioritize personal and team safety.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
