Direct Hire - Day AND Night Shift Openings!


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plastic Injection Molding Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing manufacturing efficiency, setting up mold parameters, and troubleshooting machinery to deliver high-quality parts. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with quality management systems, and a systematic approach to problem-solving, we want to hear from you!


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership: Lead by example while actively mentoring and training new production employees.
  • Process Optimization: Ensure the most efficient manufacturing methods are used within part specifications and constraints.
  • Maximize Efficiency: Leverage your knowledge of product design, material behaviors, machine capabilities, and quality control standards to optimize production flow.
  • Set Parameters: Establish and maintain processing parameters for molds utilized by micro-mold production across all shifts.
  • Document Performance: Track and document mold performance, providing actionable data to the tool room, quality control, and the production manager.
  • Troubleshoot & Maintain: Diagnose machinery and tool issues in a logical, systematic manner. Perform minor maintenance on molds and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with management to communicate production limitations, attend cross-functional meetings, and resolve customer complaints or design bottlenecks.
  • General Support: Perform other manufacturing duties as required to support team goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Proven experience or training in a manufacturing environment using formal quality systems.
  • Quality Control: Ability to accurately use measuring and inspection equipment to monitor part quality against specification drawings.
  • Technical & Math Literacy: Strong basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals). Ability to perform basic computer keyboarding and documentation tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, comprehend, and apply instruction manuals, as well as present information comfortably in one-on-one or small group settings.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical reasoning to solve practical floor problems involving multiple concrete variables. Ability to easily follow verbal and written directions.
