Job Summary:
Ensures and manages the packaging and disposables categories within supply chain for all domestic Shake Shacks, which includes being responsible and accountable for manufacturer and distributor partnerships, and consistent supply of all items within the framework of Stand For Something Good.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plans & coordinates relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and vendors for the US Supply Chain including utilizing current supply chain software to monitor any potential supply issues and providing information to cross functional departments, working with the Director to control and supervise supplier and distributor issues assessing root cause, improvement opportunities and associated risk, and communicating timely expansion plans and new volume changes to suppliers.
  • Effectively analyzes, manages, and communicates the optimization of cost and inventory levels including making appropriate recommendations for inventory levels and replenishment policies, providing forecasts to ensure stock is adequate for all distribution channels, managing sourcing planning, including current inventory and forecast demand, and managing tracking, recording and reporting on product development life cycle to ensure on time launch of new item.
  • Ensures correct specification documentation from suppliers including their sustainability management policies for all products and communicate information to the sustainability specialist and other cross functional stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Maintains full-cycle supplier and distributor relationships including adherence to sustainable packaging guidelines, regional and local regulations on compliance, business reviews, and ongoing integration including negotiating supplier programs, which includes pricing, distribution advantages, redundancy of inventory for proprietary items, and dissolution plans for any surplus and coordinating management of all suppliers to ensure supply programs and ethics of Stand for Something Good.
