Job description

We are seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Turlock, CA. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for daily production on their assigned line and to ensure that all items are packaged according to the standards set forth by both the company.

What you'll do:

  • Perform all Inventory Issues, Inventory FG Completions, and I9 Inventory Completions into JDE for Onion, Garlic and Chili (Hand-pack) Production Work Orders submitted post completion from the production floor.
  • Print I9 Partial Drum Batch Tags and distribute to Production.
  • Compares all Raw Material Batch Tags against the JDE issued inventory of each work order.
  • Ensure validity and analyze final production variance. Compare printed Production Report to production paperwork.
  • Investigate and correct any production report discrepancies. Investigate any production reports with a final variance > 4%.
  • Post-Production Activity and Production Liner information into SDF for Onion, Garlic and Chili (Hand-pack) production orders.
  • Work with Inventory Control Team to correct any transaction errors found during later analysis.
  • Print Pick Reports for both Production and Lift Operators and organize by Production line based upon the Production Schedule.
  • Verify all required Raw Material has been pulled for upcoming Production Orders based upon the Production Schedule.
  • Print Master and Batch Tags and organize by Production line based upon the Production Schedule.
  • Complete End of Shift Reports for in process orders and confirms samples have been submitted for all Production Reports completed throughout the shift.
  • Complete other projects as directed by the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

What you'll bring:

  • Typing speed of 50 to 70 WPM with strong Ten Key experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in computerized inventories and databases desired.
  • Must be computer literate in software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.

The hourly wage for this position is $21.59 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
