Line 9 General Labor
Tasks:
Come and join the biggest protein producer in the world. Tyson Foods New Holland Complex is accepting applications for packer positions in our fully cook line. Tyson Foods offers competitive wages and benefits to include but not limited to retention/referral bonuses, 9 paid holidays, vacation, 401K retirement, stock, medical insurance to include dental and vision.
Duties:
Assemble boxes, load boxes with bagged product, close and label boxes. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Willingness to work to work from Monday thru Friday, weekend work may be required, good hand dexterity for handling boxes and bagged product, able to maintain line speed, able to perform duties while standing for duration of shift, and willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment. Willingness to work in a very cold environment. Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line. Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach. Lifting is done in many areas (weight depends on area.) These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Willingness to stand on and work on a plat form that is about two feet above floor level.
Rehire Criteria:
• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
