WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Located at our Door division in Cottage Grove, MN location, the person in this position would be responsible for starting up, running, and shutting down the paint line to produce the highest quality product every day. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Setting up the paint line per customer orders - hooking up correct paint colors
  • Testing the line prior to running material to ensure even application
  • Monitoring the line to watch for clogs or uneven paint distribution
  • Troubleshooting any problems as needed to resolution
  • Offering guidance and support to line operators
  • Performing paint color change outs as customer orders require
  • Performing periodic product quality checks
  • Cleaning out the machine and properly storing any unused paint at the end of each color change out and shift completion
  • Supporting the production associates and assisting with product as able
  • Seeking to deliver highest quality finished product every day
  • Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of equipment and general production as needed
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by leadership

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Prior painting/staining experience is beneficial, but not required
