Job description

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Uses pneumatic staplers and nail guns to assemble cabinets and cabinet parts.
  2. Operates a variety of automated machines to assemble cabinet parts.
  3. Operates a variety of wood cutting machines to prepare cabinet parts.
  4. Complies with all safety, quality and productivity guidelines. Communicates safety hazards or quality non-compliance to supervisor.
  5. Coordinates with the supervisor for necessary repairs to produce product.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Must be able to safely and proficiently perform job duties as assigned.
  1. Performs other manufacturing duties as required.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to individual Department Supervisor (Mill, Assembly or Shipping). Works with a variety of peers on a daily basis to complete production tasks.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Able to lift 25 pounds constanty.
  2. Able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
  3. Able to read a tape measure.

JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS:

  1. May be exposed to noise levels greater than or equal to 85 decibels for up to 10 hours. Must wear hearing protection in these areas.
  2. Must be able to work in moderate levels of wood dust.
  3. May be exposed to moderate levels of carbon monoxide.
