Description

Summary: Strengthen raw material control and ensure incoming material is verified, tracked, and made available to production efficiently. Reduce interruptions, improve accountability, and support on-time delivery.


Responsibilities & Duties:

Receiving & Verification

  • Handle raw material receiving, including physical counts and dimensional verification.
  • Examine shipment contents against manifests, bills of lading, invoices, or purchase orders.
  • Record shipment data in ERP system.

Inventory Control & Material Flow

  • Support raw material issuing and coordination to production.
  • Assist with outside service material tracking and counts.
  • Participate in perpetual cycle counting activities.
  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Enter and maintain material certifications.
  • Electronically file purchase orders, packing slips, freight documentation, and inspection records.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Operational Support

  • Provide backup coverage to Inventory Control Coordinator and assist departments during peak workload periods.
  • Support daily operational needs as required. I.E. material handling.
  • Assist with sorting, rework, or other support tasks to maintain flow.

Safety & Organization

  • Follow all safety regulations and work expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
