Job description

Position Overview:

The Inventory Control Specialist will focus on managing appropriate inventory levels to meet the needs of internal customers and perform shipping/receiving/delivery of supply orders. This position will be located at our New Ulm, MN warehouse.

What You Will Do:

  • Process and Approve requests; process/trouble shoot purchase order through invoicing stage
  • Picking and shipping of order requests.
  • Receiving and stocking of incoming orders.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Assist with monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and data entry of inventory movement.
  • Assist in communicating with Production and Construction staff to anticipate needs.
  • Perform monthly and annual Physical Counts.
  • Assist with inventory variance reconciliation (Main Warehouse and other inventories as assigned).
  • Meet goals for inventory turns, value, and accuracy as determined by Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain clean working environment.
  • Make deliveries/pickup's as directed.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs (microscope, semen refrigerators, preg detection equipment).

  • Motor Vehicle Requirements: Because this position may require operating a company vehicle, or mileage reimbursement, any offer for this position is contingent upon the review of your motor vehicle record (MVR). The MVR will be reviewed to determine insurability based on CF's insurance carrier and company policy.
