Production Control II
 
Job Summary:
Responsible for the coordination, organization, and issuing of inventory within a work cell or group of products. Job functions include processing of Job materials, back ordered materials, DMR materials & Job Traveler packages to fulfill production requirements. Responsible for maintaining and supporting the documentation control needs of the production area.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to navigate ERP to analyze material availability and expected material receipt date.
  • Assist Production Supervisor / Manager in ensuring materials are present with each job order released to Production.
  • Assist Production Supervisor / Manager in communicating material requirements to the Warehouse department
  • Assist Production Supervisor / Manager in organizing materials to meet Production goals.
  • Assist Production Supervisor / Manager in in Job Closing and Receipt to Inventory process.
  • Provide support to Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality through participation in process control activities as required.
  • Support changes and releases of documentation for the production area including drawings, bills of materials, wire run lists, labels, and work instructions.
  • Review daily job release file and prepare traveler documentation. This includes the routing, drawings, QAFs, torque sheets, wire run lists and all labels.
  • Print / reprint all necessary documents and labels required for each job.
  • Maintain serial number control and reset appropriately each month.
  • Maintain clean, safe working environment.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma, Associate’s degree or trade school equivalent is a plus.
  • 2 plus years of similar experience
  • Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and a fast learner.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage change and multiple priorities.
 
 
Pay Rate Range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
