Position Summary:
The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting in the marketing content creation and management efforts of MFCP by collaborating in the creation of content for blog posts, social media content, and other marketing material. The Marketing Intern will have the ability to learn about SEO, market research, and content strategy, contributing to brand awareness and engagement.
Primary Duties:
  • Assist in creating engaging blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media posts, and other marketing content
  • Conduct research on industry-related topics to develop content ideas
  • Support the content calendar and help maintain deadlines
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with campaign goals and brand messaging
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and brand consistency
  • Design eye-catching graphics, infographics, and promotional materials using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

Basic Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • As MFCP is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative team environment, employee must be physically present in the office to perform his/her job functions
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work is generally completed in an office environment. Frequent sitting, computer work and phone use are required, with occasional walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 20 pounds.
