The Associate Director of Planning and Production Control will provide leadership for Production Control teams in Tucson AZ and be a part of the Arizona Subsystems Product Center cross-functional Leadership Team within effectors. This person will provide insight, influence, and ownership on decisions relating to talent, strategy, cost competitiveness, and tactical execution. This critical role will be leading teams responsible for the alignment of material availability, production schedule, and requirements in Material Requirements Planning (MRP). The successful candidate must have effective communication skills, program troubleshooting know-how, an understanding of MRP in a manufacturing environment, aptitude for innovative solutions, and proven leadership skills. The ability to interface with all levels of management from both functional and programming will be essential in this job. In this role, the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintaining system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations. What You Will Do * Leadership of AZ Subsystems Product Center Production Control teams, which includes Demand planning, Supply planning, and depot programs.
* Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-skilled team.
* Set strategic vision, direction and plan to execute on short to medium term program and functional strategies and initiatives.
* Manage and control financial expectations of the organization including pools and overhead budgets.
* Own and develop critical strategic and operational goals to drive organization to improve Material Availability, MRP Performance and On Time Delivery (OTD).
* Responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans to support the organization and goals.
* Lead and navigate a highly matrixed organization and influence effectively at multiple levels.
* This is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
* Experience in planning, production control, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain.
* Experience leading daily team operations and/or comparable leadership experience.
