Job Description: This position is responsible for all Hardware installation of handles, adaptors, weather strips, drilling, and vinyl seals/bulbs installation and crimping.  You will be required to start at one bench/prep station and be fully trained and up to speed before you move onto learning an entire new station. Standard rules come with certain size product and these standards need to be followed and practiced on a daily basis.  Safety and quality are of utmost importance in these zones. 

Shift Hours: 6am-2:30pm-Must be Able to work overtime (OT) on a frequent basis if needed.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Understand all product types and rules that go along with them
  • Know all parts that go with each product type and when to use them
  • Know and meet quality specs with jobs/tasks that are required to perform
  • Able to use power drills, caulking guns, routers, counter sink bits, tape measures, and a variety of other hand tools.
  • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet daily goals
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Interpret drawings, specifications on the work orders.
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
  • Communicate clearly with the lead.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace
  • Able to read and understand the paperwork that relates to their zone
  • Identify and report any paperwork, safety, quality, and efficiency issues to the lead
  • Utilize jigs for accuracy installation of parts and pieces
  • Good Safety Record
