Job Description

As a Production Associate at BD, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of essential medical devices and technologies. You will be responsible for executing production tasks, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring the timely delivery of products that impact global health.
Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices or components, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and accurately record production data and quality checks.
  • Identify and report any production issues, equipment malfunctions, or quality deviations to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following good manufacturing practices (GMP) and 5S principles.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and continuously improve processes.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials, as required.


Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industry, is a plus.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
