Job description

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Senior Production Associate is a highly skilled contributor responsible for executing complex production tasks with minimal supervision. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in manufacturing environments and serve as a subject matter expert in production processes and equipment operation. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Maintain positive, progressive and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity and quality and productivity as a unified goal.  
  • Perform advanced production tasks including equipment setup, material handling, and product assembly. 
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of production requirements. 
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. 
  • Identify and troubleshoot process issues, escalating as needed to support teams. 
  • Maintain detailed and accurate production records, including quantities, materials, and deviations. 
  • Collaborate with peers and support teams to meet daily production goals and quality standards. 
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Support cross-functional activities such as equipment maintenance, quality checks, and process audits. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Ability to work well within a team 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Must be able to routinely lift 50 lbs and carry objects over a distance.  
  • Must be able to climb ladders 
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; must be able to freely bend, twist, squat and climb.  
  • Must be able to use hand tools requiring manual dexterity 

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS 

  • Ability to work in an environment with temperatures occasionally above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees.
