Your Role: Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily line operations, ensuring product quality and food safety standards, managing inventory, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and directly supervise the Fresh Cut Repack lines.
  • Oversee training of new and existing team members and ensure all documentation is accurate.
  • Maintain GMPs and Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members,
  • Provide leadership for employees by being a good role model; Follow through; ensuring leads, operators and other personnel are accountable for their areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure proper processing of product by monitoring all aspects of the production line, as well as equipment, cleanliness and personnel.
  • Manage inventory, quality of product, and proper stacking.
  • Interview, hire, and maintain a fully staffed and efficient team.
  • Monitor waste resources (i.e. product, materials, etc.)
  • Check schedule and confirm products needed to fill orders are available.
  • Ensure that the driver pulls the correct product and verify that only Walmart-approved items are used to fulfill Walmart orders.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other Managers and department heads by insisting on a cooperative spirit by your team members, leading by example and by fostering open communication.
What You Need to Succeed:
✔ Diploma is required, associate’s degree preferred
✔ 2 or more years of production supervisory experience is REQUIRED
✔ Schedule flexibility and good attendance REQUIRED
✔ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
✔ Effective communication and team collaboration skills
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold, production environment
✔ Ability to speak, write, and/or read in Spanish is a PLUS
✔ Able to learn and perform basic computer clerk duties
✔ Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed in a refrigerated warehouse (average temperature: 36-38°F).
  • Frequent exposure to loud noise and heavy forklift traffic.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods on wet concrete floors.
