POSITION: Production Associate 
SHIFT:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (OT as required)
PAY RATE:
$20.00 - $25.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefit Package
LOCATION:
Minnkota Windows West Fargo, ND

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Associate position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of windows and patio doors across multiple stages of production. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Vinyl Fabrication
  • Welding
  • Hardware Installation
  • Mulling / Prepping for Assembly
  • Final Assembly
  • Paint Preparation
  • Specialty Production
Production Associates may perform work in one or more of these areas and are responsible for assembling products from raw materials through finished goods while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Read and interpret job documentation, work orders, and shop floor paperwork; perform tasks as assigned.
  • Perform production tasks across assigned areas, including fabrication, welding, assembly, hardware installation, paint prep, or specialty production.
  • Assemble materials to produce subassemblies or finished products from raw materials.
  • Ensure proper labeling of all products and components.
  • Track production output and progress using boards or systems.
  • Inspect products at each workstation to verify they are free of defects and meet quality specifications.

  • Demonstrate proficiency across multiple production stages (fabrication, welding, assembly, finishing, etc.).
  • Provide guidance and support to Level 1 associates to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating workflow and production priorities within assigned work area.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production, quality, or process issues.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
