Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a working position. The Production Associate will operate tools or machines through on the job training in a singular or
multitude of departments. Production Associates perform a variety tasks to strive for their main goal of ensuring that
manufactured products meet certain standards of quality.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality:
a. Owns Quality for their area of responsibility
b. Inspects work to ensure completion per specification or per customer requirements.
c. Ensures there are no quality related issues.
2. ESD Conformance:
a. Wears smocks, wrist straps, and Heel Straps.
b. Visually checks area for any ESD related problems and addresses them immediately.
3. Output Objectives:
a. Owns area output objectives.
b. Works with Planning and Production Managers to ensure all output objectives are met on or before schedule.
4. Cleaning and Housekeeping:
a. Ensures that work stations, machines, and work area are clean and tidy
b Cleans and oversees the cleaning of assigned facility areas as per schedule
c. Ensures that all tools are cleaned and in their proper place.
5. Supplies and Inventory:
a. Ensuses adequate quantity of supplies and inventory
b. Notifies Manager of low supplies and inventory
6. Training:
a. Trains area operators in proper procedures
7. Maintains an audit-ready area at all times.
8. Supports all company programs and strictly adheres to company policies.
9. Performs other functions as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
A. Education / Knowledge High School or GED or vocational / technical specialization.
B. Skills Fluent English; ability to sit for long periods of time; ability to perform redundant tasks for extended periods;
manual dexterity is a must; ability to read and follow company and customer work instructions; ability to interface
with upper management; supervisory skills; some computer skills.
C. Work Experience 6 months to 1 year as an Operator III or equivalent outside work experience, preferred.
D. Working Conditions Exposure to heat and some chemicals.
