We are currently hiring for a Production Associate at our Caribou, ME location. This position will move between different workstations and departments in the production facility performing a variety of tasks as needed to maintain production flow, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting where labor is required, often requiring the ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities across various manufacturing and support areas.

Duties / Responsibilities

    • Multi-task across departments: Perform tasks like assembly, packaging, quality checks, machine operation, material handling, depending on where needed within the production line.
    • Rotate stations: Move between different workstations on the production floor to fill gaps or assist with high-volume production periods.
    • Learn multiple processes: Acquire a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes and equipment operations across different production areas to be reviewed and approved by process lead/manager.
    • Quality control: Perform quality checks on products at different stages of production to ensure adherence to standards. 
    • Assist with tasks like set-up, changeovers, and troubleshooting minor machine issues. 
    • Follow safety guidelines: Adhering to all safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 
    • Maintain cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized. 
    • Requires accurate record keeping including MOM, Unipoint, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned by the senior management team.

Qualifications / Training

    • High school diploma or equivalent 
    • Proficiency in operating or adjusting production machines 
    • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude 
    • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes 
    • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications 
    • Know how to use micrometers and calipers
    • Willingness to learn and follow quality management system (QMS) protocols


Work Environment: Manufacturing/Warehouse

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift materials or components (up to 50+ lbs).
