Overview:

About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and skilled individual to join our team as a Production Associate. In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for wrapping, trimming, and finishing leather or other textiles onto automotive components with precision, care, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-inspect and prepare materials: Examine leather or other textiles for defects such as grubs, scars, discoloration, mismatched grain, or stitching errors before use.
  • Hand wrapping and finishing: Carefully position and hand wrap materials onto automotive substrates or assemblies according to job specifications.
  • Trimming and detailing: Use open razor blades, scalpels, or cutters to precisely trim materials without causing damage or creating scrap.
  • Tool handling: Operate hand tools and equipment with attention to detail to prevent part damage.
  • Adhesive activation: Use heat guns safely to activate adhesives, ensuring strong, clean bonds without overheating or burning components.
  • Quality assurance: Massage or finesse leather to eliminate wrinkles or misalignments and confirm all finished parts meet internal and customer quality standards.
  • Additional duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by the Group Leader, Supervisor, or Management.
