GENERAL SUMMARY (Describe the overall duties and responsibilities of the job):


  1. Responsible for overseeing the activities and performance of all hourly production associates within the assigned department(s).
  2. Ensure good manufacturing practices are maintained and provide quality product while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties required for successful job performance):


  1. Responsible for ensuring production schedules and deadlines are met by coordinating the work of team leaders and production associates including monitoring production flow in order to make necessary adjustments to meet all customer and production requirements and goals. 30%
  2. Facilitate the scheduling and effectiveness of all hourly production training by completing and maintaining training documentation. Responsible to ensure all production associates are trained on job operations and qualified in proper work processes. 30%
  3. Provide leadership, coaching and motivation to all team leaders and production associates by evaluating performance and completing performance reviews including providing any necessary discipline per the disciplinary procedure. Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and rules such as conduct, safety, housekeeping, quality systems, etc. 25%
  4. Responsible for observing and supporting all safety policies and procedures by ensuring a safe work environment is provided; reporting all incidents and injuries and providing first aid as needed; and facilitating in problem investigations, countermeasures and verification. 5%
  5. Ensure safety, quality and efficiency goals are achieved by providing support to production associates and the operations department while reducing scrap, materials and waste. 5%
  6. Ensure company policies are maintained and followed by assigned staff 5%


REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (These are the traditional minimum, or required, bona-fide occupational qualifications and other requirements of most people in this job).


  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Minimum three years in a manufacturing environment.
